CAST IN MOTION MATERIALS

Digital casting material for the Massivit 10000 series. It provides rapid production of industrial moulds and tooling with a very high heat resistance. Key advantages: automated production of isotropic, 3D-printed composite molds as well as thermoforming moulds, jigs and fixtures. High-dimensional accuracy with low shrinkage, good mechanical properties after post curing, and good vacuum retention.

SikaBiresin® CIM 220

High Heat Resistance | Aluminium Filled | Isotropic | High-Dimensional Accuracy | Casting Material

SikaBiresin® CIM 220 is an aluminium-filled, digital casting material co-developed with Sika for the Massivit 10000 series. It provides rapid production of industrial molds and tooling with a very high heat resistance. Key advantages: automated production of isotropic, 3D-printed composite molds as well as thermoforming molds, jigs and fixtures. High-dimensional accuracy with low shrinkage, good mechanical properties after post curing, and good vacuum retention.

SikaBiresin® CIM 120

Aluminium Filled | Isotropic | High-Dimensional Accuracy | Casting Material

SikaBiresin® CIM 120 is an aluminium-filled, epoxy material co-developed with Sika for high-speed tooling applications on the Massivit 10000 series. Leveraging Massivit’s Cast In Motion technology, it enables automated tooling for composite molds, vacuum forming tools, jigs, fixtures, and masters. Key advantages:  enables production of isotropic, 3D printed molds. High-dimensional accuracy with low shrinkage, good mechanical properties after post curing, and good vacuum retention.

SikaBiresin® CIM 80

Cost Effective | Room Temperature | Isotropic | High-Dimensional Accuracy | Casting Material

SikaBiresin® CIM 80 is a cost-effective digital casting material co-developed with Sika for the Massivit 10000 series. It provides high-speed tooling for room-temperature applications including lay-up tools, masters, jigs and fixtures. Key Advantages: no need for oven cure – enables time and cost savings. High-dimensional accuracy and good vacuum retention.

CIM 500

Isotropic | High HDT | Low CTE | Casting Material

CIM 500 is a high-performance, modified epoxy system designed for use with the Massivit 10000 additive manufacturing system. Leveraging Massivit’s groundbreaking Cast In Motion technology, it enables direct printing of industrial molds and tools for composite components. Key advantages:  enables isotropic, 3D printed molds, high heat deflection temperature , relatively low thermal expansion.

CIM 84

Flame-Retardant | Casting Material

CIM 84 is a unique 3D printing resin compliant with ASTM E84 Class A fire rating – demanded by top production studios and theme parks.

Class A is the highest rating achievable against flame spread and smoke development.

Available for use with the Massivit 10000 series, CIM 84 enables high-speed production of experiential displays, props, and characters for theme parks, events, theater and television productions.

The material provides a long-awaited response to the entertainment industry’s demand for digital fabrication in accordance with flame-retardancy regulations.
