More about Rapid Fusion

Rapid Fusion, established in 2023, specialises in large-format additive manufacturing (LFAM) systems, including modular 3D printing platforms and robotic AM cells. Their technology enables the creation of large components with high production outputs, offering a sustainable alternative to traditional manufacturing.
Rapid Fusion’s 3D printing systems are highly versatile. They can handle a wide range of engineering-grade polymers, including high-temperature and abrasive materials like carbon fibre. This material versatility allows users to tackle complex and demanding projects across various industries.
Rapid Fusion’s use of pellet feedstock, which is 65% to 90% cheaper than filament, delivers substantial cost savings on materials, making it a cost-effective solution for large-scale additive manufacturing.

The Apollo System

The Apollo System from Rapid Fusion is a turnkey 3D printing solution that utilises advanced robotics to produce large components and moulds efficiently.

The Apollo system is engineered for high performance and flexibility. It is equipped with a PE320 pellet extruder, an Epicurus controller, modular heated beds and a KUKA robotic arm with an extension reaching nearly 4 metres. Its 2 x 3-metre print bed is designed for crafting large, custom items with precision and speed, making it ideal for industrial applications where size and complexity are essential.
